I Made It!!

"may be slippy" - I love this

After sitting in the airport for hours and sleeping oh so uncomfortably all night on the airplane I finally made it! I am currently sitting in a pub having some crack (fun) eating delicious fish and chips. Internet is kind of a rare find while staying in hostels so we chose to eat here because it had free wifi. Hurray! Yesterday seemed like the longest day ever and a lot of waiting around for everyones flights to make it. Some people were delayed and others all together cancelled (glad it wasn't me). The last person finally made it here today. Anyways Ireland is AMAZING. I think it is one of the prettiest places in existance. Everything is so green here! It is everything you picture Ireland to be. Green fields, old castles, rain, sheep in the roads... you get the point. We have visited several little quaint towns that have the cutest houses here. Unfortunately I don't have all my pictures available to post (I have already taken around 200) but I did load a few pictures on my computer last night. I wish I had more. Sorry this post isn't really in order... I am new to this. I slept in a little hostel last night, there were ten girls in one room. These pictures are just a tiny sample of what I have been up to. The picture of green fields above does not even come close to doing this place justice!
First thing we did was go to a REAL castle. This is Bunratty castle, it was very cool. I'm having lots of fun. More pics to come!

  1. Kenzie - this looks like so much fun. Karly thinks it would be cool to go inside a real castle. don't forget to be safe.

  2. This looks so fun! I'm sure you were pretty tired by the time you arrived, but it looks like you will have a blast! Wish I could go to Ireland, too. We really miss you, of course, and don't know how we will make it through the rest of the summer without you. Don't worry, we will give you something to do as soon as you return! Have lots and lots of fun and watch out for those "slippy" sidewalks!

  4. how fun--you're in Ireland--I've been to Bunratty--isn't the smell of peat interesting! Hopefully, they were burning some and you've been able to experience it!
